feels so good to be watching a bella vlog after so long!! i've recently moved back into uni for my final year before master's and adjusting all over again and change has been anxiety-inducing and just, really, really hard. this comforted me and made me feel at home (a feeling i'd been craving for ever since i left home tbh) congrats on ending your book-buying ban! this motivated me quite a bit to do that for myself (although i have over 50 books :HAHA:) lots of love to you, bella. you're one of a kind 🌻💗

It's always interesting to watch videos of people with such a different attitude towards books from me. I love it when my shelves are full of books i'm itching to pick up but don't have the time for, looking at them always fills me with excitement for the future. I also love to have a big variety of books to choose from, it somehow keeps me motivated and keeps me going. (this is a bit dark but my mom used to joke that when she sees a bunch of unread books on my shelves she know she doesn't have to worry i'll off myself, bc that would be a waste to leave them behind unread lol) Edit: i'm crying at the sideye editing bella is giving😂😂

thank you for the lovely vlog <3 i told my manager im quitting today, and she took it... dramatically, even though she had been supportive when we talked about me wanting to do this before. i guess i am in a state of confusion/disappointment, but if anything this just proves to me that the environment that is there is really my place to be (which is something my mental health has been telling me for ages), and i made the right decision. so this video helped me relax and chill out a little.

I have never annotated books previously but now as I’ve had a baby and my relationship with books has changed… I have MUCH less time for reading hence I savour every moment with a book… it feels like talking to a friend. So I feel like developing a closer relationship with my books which annotation basically is.

I should really do the same with my physical TBR, I have wayyyyy too many books that I've owned for over 2 years now 🙈

I have been having fun with doing a read-a-thon in the month of August and having been reading the rest of Abby Jimenez's books. Now that it is getting to the end of the month I am looking to find a 5 star read while still doing the read-a-thon as well as start my Fall reads. Enjoying Lady Midnight, The Coldest Girl In Coldtown, & finally getting into Powerless by Lauren Roberts and started it back from the beginning to remember what I read. I am also reading Daughter of Smoke & Bone and went in blindly and wondering on a few things with this book but a fun time. Happy reading!
